   Course was live on 9/30/2020

All buildings are mandated from the primacy agency to have containment backflow assemblies installed but ever wonder why static fire sprinkler lines have six different types of assemblies to choose from while domestic water lines in a plumbing system only have two? In this presentation we will learn the evolution of the Detector Check Assembly, what its purpose is, and why some water utilities only specify detector checks on their fire systems while others do not. We will also examine the different performance characteristics between Type l and Type ll detector checks to see which type help fire designers best to lower the head loss pressures going across their system.  *PDH available for NJ and DE licenses
